Sipnode numbering rules

Sipnode adds numbering rules in order to improve dialed number processing. Using those rules Sipnode can modify the number de customer dials befor being routed. Numbering rules can remove 00 prefix for example. Numbering rules group in numbering rules groups.

Parameters

Within a numbering rules group each rules has following parameters

  • Name
  • Cut
  • Add
  • Min length
  • Max length

Name: is a indentifying string for the rule.
Cut: sets digits we want to remove at beginning of dialed number. Cut is mandatory if Add not filled in.
Add: sets digits we want to add at beginning of dialed number. Add is is mandatory if Cut not filled in
Min length: The rule applies only if dialed number length reaachs this length.
Max length: The rule applies only if dialed number length is less or igual than this length.

Numbering rules apply one single time. Once a rule gets applied, rules processing stops..

Cut=00 Minlengh=14 Number=004438478598
Number will be 004438478598 so its length is less than Minlength.

Cut=9 Add=34 Minlengh=9 Maxlength=9 Number=915642387
Number will be 34915642387.
